A man has been arrested after we seized over 50 wraps of Class A drugs.
Officers from our Proactive Crime Team, Op Skybridge, saw a drug deal taking place in Egghill Lane, at around 10pm last night (Monday), and following quick work, a 24-year-old man was detained.
We seized over 50 wraps of Class A drugs and he was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Officers from the team then carried out a search at an address in Westcroft Grove, Birmingham, where a large amount of cash was seized along with further amounts of Class A drugs.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Op Skybridge officers continue to carry out proactive enforcement across Birmingham, where they target offenders and disrupt crime.
