A man has been arrested in connection with affray in Birmingham.
Officers from our Proactive Crime Team, Op Skybridge, were called to reports of affray in Bristol Road, Longbridge, at around 11pm yesterday (Thursday).
Following a short foot chase, a 35-year-old man was detained in Austin Way and found to be in possession of a weapon.
The man was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Op Skybridge officers continue to carry out proactive enforcement across Birmingham, where they target offenders and disrupt crime.
