We have launched an investigation following disorder in Birmingham last night (Thursday).
We were called to reports of disorder in Bevington Road at around 7.15pm, where a man was found injured. He was taken to hospital to be assessed.
A short while later, at around 8.20pm we were called to reports of a firearm discharge at an address in Ilsley Road, Birmingham.
Thankfully no one was injured.
We are carrying out CCTV enquiries to establish the details.
We understand the concern in the community, and officers will be patrolling the area.
