We are appealing for information after a woman was seriously injured following a robbery in Lye.
At around 6.05pm on Sunday, 23 February, a woman and a man in their 30s were walking along Belmont Road when they were attacked. The woman suffered life changing injuries and was taken to hospital along with the man.
A mobile phone was also stolen from the woman.
It is believed there were two suspects involved in the incident. The first suspect was dressed in all black clothing and the second suspect was wearing a navy coloured jacket with white coloured piping on the arms.
Officers have conducted enquiries such as reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to nearby residents but are now asking for your help.
