Officers from Coventry took down a suspected drugs operation in the city this week.
A pair of warrants were carried out in Stoke and Binley, resulting in one person being arrested and cannabis seized.
The warrants were carried out simultaneously at addresses in The Cornfield, Stoke and Grange Avenue, Binley.
Inside the Binley address, officers found the cannabis along with scales, deal bags and a quantity of cash.
A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
He has been bailed while our enquiries continue.
The warrants were possible because of local intelligence gathering and information from the public.
Information we receive helps us build a clearer picture of where and when this kind of crime is happening.
All this information then feeds into our plans for patrols and proactive operations like this.
Along with the crime associated with drug dealing, the anti-social behaviour which comes with it can have a devastating impact on the surrounding neighbourhood.
