Two people from Coventry have been charged in connection with a number of thefts from shops in the city.
Paul Hopkins and Hala Mohamed were arrested by officers from the Foleshill Neighbourhood Team and Priority Crime Team at Gallagher Retail Park yesterday (7 February).
Hopkins, 34, of no fixed address, was charged with shop thefts on 5 February and 7 February and was appearing before magistrates in Coventry today.
Mohamed, 23, from Coventry, was charged with theft from yesterday and will appear before magistrates on 12 March.
We know the impact of theft on our business community and we’re continuing to identify and detain suspects.
