A man involved in last year's summer disorder in the West Midlands has been sentenced.
Amon Bahri has been jailed for violent disorder in Bordesley Green, Birmingham, in August last year.
Bahri, 20, was involved in disorder which saw a Skoda vehicle smashed on August 5, before a pub in Stoney Lane was attacked and a man was assaulted.
The 20-year-old, from Oak Croft, Solihull, was jailed for one year and nine months at Birmingham Crown Court, yesterday (Thursday).
Chief Superintendent Richard North, from Birmingham Police, said: "This sentence shows that we do not tolerate violence in our towns and cities.
"We would like to thank members of the public for sharing our appeal which was crucial to identify those responsible."
