A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a mother and daughter tragically died following a collision in Birmingham.
Mohammed Ibrahim, 25, from Sheldon, Birmingham, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday) for a first hearing.
He will next appear before the city’s crown court on 7 May.
The 25-year-old was charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, and three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Amanda Riley, 49, and Linda Philips, 72, both sadly died on 26 December, 2023, following a collision on Meadway at the junction with Kitt’s Green Road, in Shard End, Birmingham.
