We’ve arrested a man in his 20s as investigations continue after three people were injured in Wolverhampton on Friday (27 Sept).
Enquiries were launched following reports of a gun being fired from a car on Frederick Street at around 11pm.
Yesterday evening (Sunday) a 21-year-old man was detained in the Parkfield area of the city on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in custody today as investigators continue to establish exactly what happened.
Following the incident three women were taken for hospital treatment and two remain in hospital in a stable condition.
We've an increased presence in the area to reassure the local community and we’d ask anyone who’s yet to speak to us, but thinks they can help enquiries, to get in touch.
