A 76-year-old man has today (Monday) been charged with the 2008 murder of a Tipton taxi driver. David Harrison, from Bilston, is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on 6 January 2026, accused of the fatal shooting of 39-year-old taxi driver Harun Khan. Mr Khan, a father of four, was shot outside his home in Tudor Street at 9.25pm on 3 March 2008. He was taken to hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. Harrison is also charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm following a shooting of a 27-year-old man on 14 December 2007 in Farthings Lane, Dudley. He is further charged with two counts of possessing a firearm.
