The total number of police officers, special constables, and police staff who were charged with a criminal offence or summoned to court between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025 (inclusive).

Copies of any press releases issued by your force during the same period which relate to police officers, special constables, or police staff being charged with criminal offences or summoned to court.

If no press releases were issued, please confirm this explicitly.

Please provide a breakdown of the total figure by:

• Police officers
• Special constables
• Police staff

Scope (for the avoidance of doubt)

This request relates only to individuals who, during the period specified below, were:

Police officers (of any rank) serving with your force

Special constables serving with your force

Police staff employed by your force

and who were formally charged with a criminal offence or formally summoned to court, regardless of the final disposal or outcome (including conviction, acquittal, discontinuance, or any other result).

For the avoidance of doubt:

The identity of the charging or prosecuting authority is irrelevant.

This request excludes cases in which an individual was arrested, investigated, interviewed, or subject to misconduct or gross misconduct proceedings, but not charged with a crime or issued a court summons.

This request only concerns individuals serving with or employed by your force, and does not include officers or staff from other police forces.
