I would like to know how many people you employ that manage any other person, i.e. has line manager responsibilities.
In terms of training, my request is to ask what training you provide these individuals in order to manage their team effectively and efficiently.

In terms of training, my request is to ask what training you provide these individuals in order to manage their team effectively and efficiently.
All new supervisors and managers who have direct line management responsibility are required to attend mandatory leadership training which includes (but does not exclusively contain):
- Leadership and management qualities
- Leadership and management skills
- Leadership and management models
- Managing talent and performance
- HR, Professional Standards and Wellbeing functions and expectations
- Managing change
Employees also have access to some external development programmes of their own choosing (such as those delivered by the College of Policing), but this is not the standardised or mandated training offer.
