Operation Navette (FOI ref: 372A/25)

Request

Total number of people arrested as part of Operation Navette in response to violent disorder that followed the mass stabbing carried out in Southport (I understand based on a response shared with me from another FOI request that by November 22nd this was at least 27).

Of those arrested, the total number who have had any reports of domestic abuse made against them.

8 of the 27 persons arrested have a previous domestic related incident reported.

Please note that this data should be interpreted with caution. Comparing numbers of incidents/crimes can be misleading and does not necessarily indicate the likelihood of someone being a victim of crime. In addition, the number of incidents/crimes recorded in an area over a period of time can be influenced by a number of factors. Consequently statistics on incidents/crimes for one period may not necessarily be a good indicator of future incidents in that area.
