Request 

For every calendar year from 1 January 2012 to 31 Dec 2024 inclusive, I would like:

Q1. The number of people arrested for the common law offence of conspiracy to cause a public nuisance

Q2. Of these arrests, the number that resulted in a charge

Q3. I would like this data broken down by month — I.e. January 2012, February 2012, etc. 

For clarity, from June 2022, I would like you to search for ‘Intentionally or recklessly causing public nuisance’.

Please find enclosed our response.

Q1. The number of people arrested for the common law offence of conspiracy to cause a public nuisance

Q2. Of these arrests, the number that resulted in a charge

Q3. I would like this data broken down by month — I.e. January 2012, February 2012, etc. 

For clarity there are two data tables below. One Pre-2022 and one for after.

Please be advised that the data is provided in PDF as this is deemed the most secure format to avoid any possibility of `hidden data` being inadvertently shared.

However, it can be converted by the user into CSV or excel. There are guidelines how to do this available on the internet.

 

If there are months missing for the year it means that there is a zero result.

This data has been resourced off our custody system.  This system changed in 2021 and therefore for the new offence in 2022 the data will be presented differently.
