Request

1. Number of "non-crime hate incidents" logged by the department/constabulary/force in relation to the platform Twitter/X, broken down by month, in 2024.

2. Number of "non-crime hate incidents" logged by the department/constabulary/force in relation to the platform Twitter/X, broken down by month, in 2023.

Response

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted for all non-crime hate incidents recorded during the specified periods that included the keywords 'Twitter', ‘Tweet’, 'X', or ‘@’ in the Incident Summary field. These results were then manually reviewed for relevance to your request. This review identified 14 non-crime hate incidents in total over the period that related to posts on the X/Twitter platform (see following table):
