Drugs in educational premises (FOI ref 1849A/24)
Request
From the 1st January 2021 to the 1st November 2024 how many reports of drug use in schools did West Midlands Police receive. Please divide the data up into four categories - 1st January 2021 - 31st December 2021, 1st January 2022 - 31st December 2022, 1st January 2023 - 31st December 2023 and 1st January 2024 - 1st November 2024.
If possible, I would also like information on what the drug(s) involved in each incident were.
Please also include how many of these reports led to confiscation of drugs.
On 19th November 2024 we responded with a cost offer, you replied the same day. Your amended request now reads.

We previously stated that we could not do individual types of schools, however given the numbers involved we were able to provide the data after an individual check of each crime. Therefore, the breakdown has been included.
